Amazon posted its Q4 2026 holiday readiness announcement on July 7, 2026. Two things matter most for prep and inventory planning this season: when your inventory needs to arrive, and what it will cost to fulfill during peak.

Inventory Inbound Deadlines

Amazon's fulfillment centers have firm inventory cutoff dates this year, and sellers who miss them risk losing Prime badge eligibility and missing the biggest sales events of the year. That pressure flows directly to you: treat these as hard stops, not targets. Fulfillment centers shift focus from receiving inbound shipments to processing customer orders as the season progresses, so receiving times lengthen and capacity tightens the closer you get to November and December.
